王小平,男,汉族,1972年出生,湖北房县人,农学博士,华中农业大学植物科技学院教授、博士生导师,中国昆虫学会第四届青年科技奖获得者,入选2012年度教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划。兼任昆虫资源利用与害虫可持续治理湖北省重点实验室主任、湖北省昆虫学会副理事长。
