男、博士,教授,博士生导师,国家现代农业(柑橘)产业技术体系果实虫害防控岗位科学家。曾多次出国留学或开展合作研究,1999-2005先后在美国密西根州立大学、德国康斯坦茨大学、新西兰农业研究中心、以色列农业研究中心从事博士后或访问学者研究,2013-2014美国佛罗里达大学高级访问学者;并先后受邀出访澳大利亚、巴西、南非、葡萄牙、韩国、泰国及土耳其等国参加大型国际学术会议,并多次被邀请为大型国际会议的专题主持和学科召集人:The XVth International Plant Protection CongressThe 11th International Citrus CongressThe 13th International Conference for Grain and Oil Science and TechnologyThe 8th International Conference on Controlled Atmosphere and Fumigation in Stored Products2006 the International Forum for Sustainable Management of Disease Vectors等。先后任International Foundation for Science科学顾问、中国粮油学会理事、中国昆虫学会昆虫微生物组学专业委员会副主任委员、外来物种及检疫专业委员会、药剂与毒力专业委员会、城市昆虫专业委员会委员、中国植物保护学会园艺害虫防治专业委员会委员、生物入侵分会委员、湖北植保学会副理事长。近年累计发表学术论文百余篇,其中SCI收录 80多篇,其中, IF9 论文1篇, IF5 论文3篇,一区论文4篇。先后获教育部提名国家自然科学奖二等奖、教育部科技进步二等奖、湖北省科学技术进步二等奖2项和自然科学奖三等奖1项、湖北省科技进步三等奖3项。授权专利6项。主编“十一五”国家级规划教材《城市昆虫学》和《植物害虫检疫学》、副主编教育部面向21世纪高等学校教材《农业昆虫学》、 研究生教材《昆虫学研究方法与技术导论》等全国性教材,主编《柑橘病虫害绿色防控彩色图谱》(中国农业出版社,2018)、《农业害虫识别与防治原色生态图谱》(广东科技出版社,2017)、《图说柑橘病虫害防治关键技术》(中国农业出版社,2012)、《烟粉虱及其防治》(金盾出版社,2010),《粮食与种子储藏》(金盾出版社,2009)、《药用昆虫养殖技术》(广东科技出版社,2001),副主编《昆虫学研究方法与技术导论》(科学出版社,2010)、《电子束辐照技术在检疫处理中的应用》(中国质检出版社,2013)等等专著。目前主持承担国家现代农业(柑橘)产业体系果实虫害防控岗位、国家重点研发计划项目、联合国粮农组织/国际原子能署(FAO/IAEA)项目、国家自然科学基金、国家公益性行业专项等国际国内项目多项。
