主要研究方向:
1、统计基因组学:目前从事海量数据的遗传分析方法研究。代表性工作:
1)建立关联分析的基于IBD的混合线性模型分析方法(Genetics 2005,169:2267-2275)和发展了全新的多位点GWAS方法(FASTmrEMMA算法:Briefings in Bioinformatics 2017, online; ISIS EM-BLASSO算法:PLoS Computational Biology, online; mrMLM算法:Scientific Reports 2016, 6: 19444; pLARmEB算法:Heredity, Accepted)(软件下载地址https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/mrMLM/index.html);
2)提出基于多基因背景控制的全基因组复合区间作图GCIM法(Scientific Reports 2016, 6: 29951)(软件包同上);
3)提出了超饱和线性模型参数估计的惩罚最大似然方法(Heredity 2005, 95:96-104),参与提出Bayesian压缩估计方法(Genetics 2005,170:465-480)
4)提出了利用部分NCII遗传交配设计进行遗传分析的策略及其分析方法(PLOS ONE 2015;Scientific Reports 2015)
2、基因分子进化:目前从事基因组变异与复杂性状形成的分子进化机制研究。代表性论文:基因组变异与豆科植物根瘤固氮(MBE 2013,影响因子:14.308)、禾本科植物高淀粉含量(MBE 2012,影响因子:10.353)和高蛋白质含量的分子进化机制

1、华中农业大学植物科技学院教授,组建数量遗传学研究团队;
2、南京农业大学农学院作物遗传育种专业,历任副教授(1999)和教授(2002),从事统计基因组学、基因分子进化和大豆遗传学研究工作;其中,2003-2005年在美国加州大学Riverside分校做统计遗传与基因组学博士后:
3、西南大学荣昌分校,历任见习助教、助教(1987)、讲师(1992)、副教授(1995);
从事生物统计学的教学与应用研究工作,曾任重庆市遗传学会常务理事、动物科学系主任助理和副主任、重庆市荣昌县政协常委。
